First off, I'm sorry that I haven't been on the blog this week. My subjects are all working on a six or seven week schedule, and this is the time when everything's due. I should be back on Blogland by Tuesday afternoon, once my neuroscience is out of the way :)

I did some of my P.E internal (basically just internally assessed exam) last night, when I guess I was too tired to really think about what I was typing. Here are the responses I wrote on some of the questions about swimming that would get me instant detention;

 

How do I know that my physical behaviours affected my safety?
I know that my physical behaviours affected my safety because I didn't drown.

Why did my behaviour affect physical safety (positive or negative)?
Because I didn’t drown.

Why did my behaviour affect emotional safety (positive or negative)?
Because I didn't try to drown anyone else.
 
What are the consequences of my responsible behaviours?
I didn’t drown.

Do I need to change my behaviour?
Probably.

What was the influence of my responsible behaviours on safety?
The influence of my responsible behaviours was that nobody drowned.



Needless to say, I'm going back and changing those.

I don't know what to post about.

Apparently I am supposed to post about my life.
My life is good.

It's pretty hot in here in Wellington though. It's humid and the air is moist, making school really uncomfortable. It's that electric feeling of tension building in the air that reminds me of Malaysia and some of Europe: how the air would get so hot and humid until it broke, like gigantic monsoon buckets overturning in the sky. I keep expecting the weather here to break like that, for monsoon rains to just wash everything away. But no. It's just getting hotter.

I'm back at school now, and enjoying some of the new subjects I'm taking this year. I've got an interesting timetable with lots of new teachers, and so many exams to prepare for D:

All in all, I think it'll be an interesting year. My friend and I (both recently-ish turned 15) were singing along to Taylor Swift's 'Fifteen' on a road trip up north. I don't think I need to worry about any of the love problems Taylor's singing about. I just plan to stay at home and eat chocolate.
